• Freestanding bathtubs. Make your bath a focal point of the room, from slipper baths to roll-tops, there is a freestanding bath for any style.
• Warm tones. The use of neutral and earthy tones in tiling and accessories are at the top of the trends for 2023, as well as warm metallics such as brushed golds and bronzes for taps and accessories.
• Make a statement. Search black bathrooms on Instagram and you will see over 3,000 posts. Black is a popular choice for taps, showers, accessories and even shower screens with a modern take on the crittal-look.
• Japandi. This look is based on the Japanese way of life which embraces slow-living, contentment and simplicity, with the Scandinavian practice of hygge, which is based on simplicity and wellbeing. This minimalist look is achieved by choosing natural textures and simple lines.
• Ditch the clutter with great storage solutions. Make the most of smaller bathrooms by using clever storage solutions, such as:
  • Recesses in the shower wall, the ideal place for storing your shampoo and shower gel.
  • Hidden storage behind mirrors.
  • Vanity units.
• Glass shower screens. Ditch the frames and go for a seamless glass shower screen. This gives the illusion of space and also makes it easier to clean.
• Wall panelling. Wall panelling has been a key trend in hallways, bedrooms and dining rooms for some while, but recently panelling has been seen in bathrooms. Just remember to seal well and paint with a bathroom-paint to prevent moisture damage.
• Statement wallpaper. Many wallpaper manufacturers now make wallpaper designed to use in the bathroom. Use large botanical designs to make a big statement.

• Give the walls of your bathroom a lick of paint – why not try one of the on-trend colours and choose new towels and bathmats to match.
